MEDIA ADVISORY: Wounded Warrior races 36 hours for charity

FORT BRAGG, N.C.  (USASOC News Service, Feb. 9, 2010) – Local and National Media are invited to interview Army Maj. Kent Solheim, the executive officer of 4th Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne), in reference to his participation in the Pisgah 36, a 36-hour Mountain Bike Adventure Race Feb. 19-21. 

Maj. Solheim is a Purple Heart recipient, who lost his leg during combat operations.   He continues to race despite this setback in order to raise support for charity.
