Special Forces Soldiers remembered in ceremony
FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, June 29, 2005) — Two Special Forces Soldiers killed in action earlier this month were remembered at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Chapel here June 24, 2005.
Civil affairs Soldiers train Iraqi firefighters to save lives
BAGHDAD, Iraq, (Defend America News Service, June 24, 2005) —  Following the explosion of an improvised explosive device, Baghdad’s city firefighters quickly show up at the scene. The casualties are hastily loaded into their trucks or ambulances and rushed to the hospital with little or no treatment provided.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (USASOC News Service, June 2, 2005) — “You are still a part of our family, and you will never be forgotten.  Thank you for your sacrifice,” said Maj. Gen. Herbert L. Altshuler, commanding general of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), addressing a crowded dining room of grieving family members.
